Skin  is a dynamic organ. Every day cells divide at the basal layer of the epidermis and begin upward to the outermost layer, the stratum corneum. The exfoliation of the stratum corneum is a normal daily event.

Chemical peeling is basically an accelerated form of exfoliation.

Three things occur.

1) Stimulation of epidermal growth by removing the old skin

2) Destruction of damaged skin cells and replacing them with more normalized tissue makes for a better cosmetic result. ( removal of sun damage, uneven skin tone, crepe skin, wrinkles...)

3) Induction of new collagen production, helps to thicken and strengthen skin cells

Spokane Laser has a variety of peels from lightening tightening  minor peel with no shedding  to medium depth peels for more extreme shedding.

Choosing a peel can be dependent upon the reason for the peel. Super exfoliation or treatment of melasma, acne, wrinkles, hyper pigmentation or  sun damage.

Lightening tightening peel -$65  

A mild, lunch time peel, no down time, just glowing healthy appearing skin. 

​

Glycolic Peel 30%. -  $75 -

This peel can cause mild peeling, short duration, This is a peel focused on dark pigmentation, sun damage in general, sun spots, uneven skin tones. Dark spots will turn darker until they slough off. Perfect choice for the top of the hands) (50% is available, will cause more peeling)

Jessner Peel -$90

This peel is a medium depth peel.

You can choose mild exfoliation or a more intense shed.

This peel is designed to encourage cellular growth, diminish fine lines,

reduce signs of scars or uneven skin texture. Peeling will be begin 3 days after application.

 Apple Wine Peel-$90

Much like the Jessner Peel, this is medium depth peel. 

There can be slight discomfort, a fan is applied to cool the skin.
